This would foster small business growth, more effective contribution to our economy, and ensure our federal agencies have faster access to the innovation and technologies they need.
WASHINGTON — Congressman Gil Cisneros (D-CA-31) and Congressman Brian Jack (R-GA-03) introduced a bill, the Small Business Administration (SBA) IT Modernization Reporting Act of 2025, that would enhance the SBA’s ability to develop, implement, and manage IT modernization projects while mitigating potential risks in order to better serve small businesses.

About 20 minutes into a town hall in El Monte this week, Melissa Morgan of San Dimas picked up the microphone to address her congressman, Democrat Gil Cisneros.
“You seem like such an affable, kind, nice man,” Morgan said, her voice hesitant at first. “But I am so angry. I am so scared. I feel our democracy is in danger. ... I wish you’d be angry.”
