If enacted, this legislation would require the DoD’s Inspector General to review efforts by the services to prevent incidents of deaths by suicide, suicide attempts, and suicidal ideation among members of the Armed Forces.

Gil Cisneros led his Democratic colleagues in a letter to the Department of Housing And Urban Development (HUD) demanding action to protect families receiving Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) from the risk of homelessness. With the end of the year drawing nearer, HUD has still not released guidance for the implementation of FY26 funding for the program.
