Rep. Cisneros Statement on Impeaching Sec. Kristi Noem

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Rep Cisneros released the following statement after co-sponsorship of H. Res.996, a Congressional resolution to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem for high crimes and misdemeanors:

“I refuse to standby while our communities are under attack by ICE at the direction of Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem. Her willful misconduct is violating the constitution and federal law and putting every single one of us in danger. Kristi Noem must be impeached—immediately—for the safety and security of America.”
