Local and state law enforcement did not ask for assistance. Donald Trump is escalating the situation and making it more dangerous for everyone.
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-31) attempted to conduct Congressional oversight at Adelanto ICE Processing Center. Rep. Cisneros, along with Rep. Judy Chu (CA-28), Rep. Derek Tran (CA-45) and members of the CHIRLA and ACLU were denied entry and prevented from exercising their duty.
