Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz)
The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, or GO-Biz, is California’s leader for job growth, economic development and business assistance efforts. They offer support with attraction, retention and expansion services, site selection, permit streamlining, clearing of regulatory hurdles, small business assistance, international trade development, assistance with state government, and more.
Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services (OSDS)
OSDS supports California’s economic growth by promoting and increasing small, diverse, and disabled veteran business participation in state contracting through outreach, advocacy, education, certification, and compliance.

The University of La Verne Small Business Development Center (SBDC) stimulates economic growth in the East San Gabriel Valley by providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with no cost consulting, low-cost training and access to resources. The University of La Verne SBDC is part of the Los Angeles Regional Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and is funded in part by the Small Business Administration (SBA). SBDC clients receive expert guidance and benefit from the experiences of staff and other businesses through consulting and training workshops. The SBDC focuses on driving engagement with the business community to develop positive impacts on the local economy.
