Rep. Cisneros Infrastructure and Business Tours Recap
FULLERTON, CA – This week, Congressman Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) toured CJ Foods, Suzuki Motor of America Inc., the Prado Dam, and the Orange County Water District to highlight the 39th Congressional District’s burgeoning business community and the importance of maintaining and improving Southern California’s infrastructure.
“CJ Foods and Suzuki Motor Corporation are excellent examples of the diversity of our business community here in the 39th District and prime example of how our community supports a variety of businesses, from making delicious Korean dumplings to pushing the edge of motorsports,” said Rep. Cisneros. “ Each of these businesses has a unique role in contributing towards the overall socioeconomic advancement of our district and we must continue to maintain a business and community environment that attracts companies like Suzuki and CJ Foods to our area.”

“Touring the Orange County Water District and the Prado Dam was an opportunity to highlight the importance of improving and maintaining the 39th District’s infrastructure projects as they help keep our communities safe, promote commerce, create jobs, and connect us all,” said Rep. Cisneros. “I will continue to advocate for robust federal funding for our infrastructure projects that invests in our community and ensures the future safety of all the 39th’s constituents.”

Rep. Cisneros is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and House Veterans Affairs Committee. He recently gave testimony at multiple Member Days with the House Appropriations Committee regarding Transportation and Housing Urban Development as well as the Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water to ensure funding of infrastructure projects in the 39th Congressional District. Rep. Cisneros also submitted testimony to the House Small Business Committee highlighting programs that support our local economy.
