Rep. Cisneros Honors CA-39 Law Enforcement Officers During National Police Week

FULLERTON, CA - Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) honored California’s 39th District law enforcement officers during National Police Week, which runs from May 10-May 16. Rep. Cisneros submitted remarks to the Congressional Record highlighting the service, selflessness, and sacrifice of 39th District officers. To view the remarks, click here.

“National Police Week honors the heroic and selfless devotion of our peace officers to our country. Every day, our officers put their lives on the line to serve and protect our communities with unwavering courage and compassion. They go above and beyond the call of duty, not only serving the 39th District in uniform, but also using their personal time to help those in need,” said Rep. Cisneros. “I couldn’t be more proud of the work our officers do throughout our district. This week, we also take a moment to remember and honor the fallen men and women in law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We will never forget them.”

In the remarks, Rep. Cisneros recognizes several 39th District law enforcement officers, including: 

  • Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department
    • Lieutenant Thomas Giandomenico, a 30-year veteran of the department and an Army Veteran;
    • Sergeant Paul Parkhurst, who has served since 2006;
    • Deputy Jesse Acuna who has served since 2010;
  • Fullerton Police Department
    • Sergeant Ryan O’Neil, who has served our community since 2008;
  • Chino Hill’s Sheriff’s Station 
    • Deputy Ed Hernandez; 
    • Deputy Eileen Negron;
    • Deputy Tony Ortega
