FULLERTON, CA - Today, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) announced over $73 million in Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) for Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties. The funding comes from the CARES Act and is to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance. The funds will also support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. Los Angeles County will receive $62,445,943, Orange County will receive $4,992,579, and San Bernardino County will receive $6,401,870.
