Hispanic Heritage Celebración in Hacienda Heights

The Hacienda Heights community celebrated Latino culture and history Monday night during its Hispanic Heritage Month Celebración at Los Altos High School.
Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, recognizes Latino’s and Hispanic’s contributions to today’s America.
The evening featured performances including traditional ballet folklorico, a resource fair and a leadership awards ceremony.
Attendees collected information about health care, education, immigration, emergency management, the 2020 census information and more. U.S. Rep. Gil Cisneros, D-Yorba Linda, awarded Hispanic community leaders education, community service and small business.
