Xuewei From Chino Hills
My office recently assisted a constituent from Chino Hills with obtaining a 180-day extension for his employment authorization document (EAD). His EAD would have expired on February 28, 2019, which would prohibit him from continuing his employment in the United States. His son is currently attending preschool, and his wife’s income alone is insufficient to meet his family’s necessary expenses; therefore, losing his job would have resulted in severe financial hardship. After my office submitted an inquiry and an expedited request to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, he was able to obtain an extension on his EAD and his green card.
